About us

I'm Jo and I am the professional face painter behind Smiley Faces by Jo. In 2011 I fell in love with face painting after being asked by a lady at my church if I would paint faces for a VBS event. I had never done any face painting, but thought I would like to give it a try. I absolutely loved it and loved making the kids smile! About a month later I purchased my first set of professional face painting cosmetics and I was hooked! That is how "Smiley Faces by Jo" was born. Since then, I've spent endless hours learning and improving my skills and have truly enjoyed the happy moments and great memories from painting on live canvas. I can't imagine my life without face painting!
