After attempting to do business with Alpha Kinetix and it's owner Gary Phillips between January 6th to May 4th, 2014, (that's how long it took to try and get a repair done), in my attempting to get my Behringer 1608 PA Powered Mixer repaired, I was continually lied to over the 4 month period concerning replacement parts. I was continually told by Gary Phillips that Behringer was too hard to deal with and usually was out of stock on repair parts and he needed to get parts somewhere else. However I personally called both Behringer as well as an authorized Behringer repair center located in Tampa. I was told by both parties that Behringer had the replacement parts in stock and available however they would not sell them to Alpha Kinetix since they are not an authorized repair center. Then I was told by Alpha Kinetix I would have to be charged MORE than the original quote due to having to search for parts... total scam. I became so frustrated by the whole ordeal I just left my mixer there and Alpha Kinetix still has possession of it to this very day. I tried to edit my original post that I had posted here back on May 5th, 2014 so I could add more detailed information concerning this horrible and nightmarish experience but for some reason it got deleted during the editing process. Again, in my opinion, ALPHA KINETIX IS THE WORST OF THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The link below is to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) where Alpha Kinetix, who is not accredited by the BBB, still gets a rating of "F" due to complaint reports. http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/business-reviews/television-and-radio-dealers/alpha-kinetix-in-pompano-beach-fl-90037991 Here is a link below to another complaint report; (Gary Phillips of Alpha Kinetix just recently posted a rebuttal on October 10th, 2014 refuting this report stating it is inaccurate and malicious, however the person who filed the original complaint, Mr.Travis Bickle, in the report also provides the court case number as well as the presiding judge in the case - The Case # is : COCE-10-017223 presided over by Judge Lisa Von Tefs 54 - The ordered and signed date was 07/25/2011- showing the complaint report and judgement to be accurate despite Mr. Phillips now posting a rebuttal after 3 years from the reports original posting back on Sept/Oct 2011. Mr. Phillips ends his rebuttal by stating, and I quote; "Just ask any professional musician who's been around , you'll always hear we are recommended for best service in entertainer support."
