  Need assistance... I need to get the pre-kindergarten medical screen done for my son. I have gotten run around after run around trying to find a inexpensive place to get this done because simply stated, we have no insurance yet. Health Department said they no longer do them. Was sent to some Christian ministry and Minnie (something or other) both of which informed me they also don't do it. Was then sent to sisters of mercy and fast-med who also told me they don't do it. I simply need someone to check out my son and fill out the paper that I'm told, by the school, healthcare facilities already have. Any suggestions? I have a few months before our insurance kicks in and we make too much for state assistance medical and I'm new to the area. Surely somewhere does this exam... for a reasonable fee that I can pay cash for.

  Ok. I live in Ft Campbell KY. My husband is in the army. We had our son at 24 weeks. He is still in the NICU in Nashville. My husband signs out of the army today. Of course we're not going anywhere until the baby is out of the hospital and the dr gives us the ok to move. My question is, we need a pediatrician for when we do get back home. Weather its in Asheville Or Hickory, it doesn't matter. I just need a Dr that actually knows what their doing. Our baby was not supposed to survive. So we will not take a chance with a dr that has no idea what their doing. Any suggestions
