  Rumpus Room downtown has a great selection and you are walking distance from tons of other bars and restaurants of you want to poke around. http://www.rumpusroommke.com This is probably not as likely with whiskey but I've been there before and remember them not having a few beers listed in their menu. Also if you decide to eat there I would recommend playing it safe. While they have great sandwiches and starters their more experimental (read: pricier) items fall flat on my opinion.
