  Can anyone recommend a great bakery in the city centre for trying Czech baked goods? Baked goods in general but especially Czech / Eastern European-style cheesecake! A friend of mine is visiting but she missed the farmer's markets on the weekend and I was hoping I could recommend a good alternative for indulging in tasty Czech baking before she leaves.   A Czech cheesecake? If you mean sweet "tvarohový koláč" it is difficult to buy a good one at 1:25 am. Tomorrow in Náměstí Republiky should be a [farmer's market](http://farmarsketrhyprahy1.cz/tento-tyden-u-nas/?language=en) (metro B). Pekárna (= bakery) MaM, Hostomice has a stand there.
