  Looking for good hostels in Edinburgh that can provide long stay Hello! :) I’m moving to Edinburgh early next year and will have to live in a hostel for a month while I look for a job and flat. I need one that’s within the city centre, can allow long stays, and is clean and comfortable to live in. I’m thankful for all suggestions.

  Not sure about long stays, you'd need to contact them and ask, but [Castle Rock Hostel](http://www.castlerockedinburgh.com) gets good reviews, as does [Budget Backpackers](https://budgetbackpackers.com/) (who offer a weekly rate). One thing I would say, the job and housing market can both be challenging in Edinburgh and so I would ***strongly*** recommend trying to get one or the other (or both) sorted before you move.

  Having Worked at Budget Backpackers and Lived in their long stay for 8 Months I can confirm this is a great little place to stay, the rates are affordable and the people there are usually friendly, I met some great friends while staying there. One word of caution though ensure you pay your rent on time and dont break the rules (works more on a 3 strike rule, break the rules twice and no matter how small the third they will probably throw you out) as they will not hesitate to evict you.
