About us
Jayant Sankla is a singer, composer, lyricist, and a music producer. Apart from being trained in Hindustani music from the eminent Rampur Sahaswaan Gharana, he has his base set in Western music too. He received vocal training from musical maestros Ustad Shakeel Ahmed Khan and Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan and still remembers his lessons from his first guru Shri Virendra whom he frequently visits.
Jayant entered the advertising world by singing and featuring in the Sprite Commercial 2013, along with the Salim-Sulaiman. He has also composed and produced the music for Pan Vilas commercial and given voice to the audio tour of JP Narayan’s museum along with Amitabh Bachchan. Jayant shares the credit in composing the soundtrack and eight culturally rich songs for the upcoming fountain project at Ranjit Avenue in Amritsar. Moreover, he worked with ABP NEWS and sung the parody songs during the 2017 elections.
Having worked on a wide range of music genres and developing a clear understanding of cinema, he wrote and produced the background score for his first movie ‘Narayan’ which is going to release in 2017 under the banner PVR. He also composed and sung a song in the movie, called SHUKRIYA PAPA.
Jayant is considered a distinguished performer in the college music circuit and has performed in IITs, IIITs NIT & a number of other noteworthy festivals. Having performed in more than 200 live shows/concerts, his versatility is taking him overseas for his first Musical Stage Show in Sweden in August 2017.
