  Looking for a pro bono attorney. A grandmother whose daughter was killed by her ex husband last year (long history of DV) is seeking to formally get custody of her granddaughter. The child left behind has been living with grandmother since mom's murder. The parents divorced in Fort Bend and deceased mother had primary custody of the child. AVDA's staff is willing to draft proper pleadings and assist in other ways but our staff attorney are only able to assist clients in Harris County courts at this time.
