  Roofing Company (and several other reno recommendations)? We bought a house! It came in significantly under budget, but that means we inherit a **little bit** of a "to do" list. Shingles need replacing, floors need sanding/refinishing, and eventually an older kitchen with an old school in floor heating system needs to be replaced. Doing a quick search of /r/Calgary and Homestar came up with some responses, but its been over a year for roofing suggestions from you guys. If anyone has some suggestions for roofing (I found Done-Right, Fortress) I'd be all ears as this is the most urgent. Any recommendations for a general contractor for some odd-jobs (sanding etc) and designer/contractor for the kitchen would be fantastic too. Thanks in advance.

  [Big 5 does roofing](http://big5.ca/roofing) and they've been around forever. Not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. I hired them to repair my roof last year after a pretty wicked hail storm.
