  Local Therapist/Psychologist recommendations? Hi guys, posting on a throwaway account here. Does anyone have any local psychologist/psychotherapist/therapist recommendations? I have a friend who's been going through some awful depression and anger because of a breakup and a lot of loss in the past year. I'm very worried about him, and I'm afraid that if his dog kicks it (his dog is quite sick), he's done for. He seemed open to seeing a therapist, but is hesitant about the expense and wonders if it will help. I would recommend him the therapist I see, but I'm not sure she'd 'fit' his personality, since she's not local. tl;dr, Has anyone on here been to a local city psychologist that they would recommend? Preferably someone who deals with loss, grief, etc. Please don't feel any pressure to share personal information, but examples of what they did to help you would be amazing.
