About us
From its beginning in 1909 as a grassroots YWCA, then later becoming Third Street Alliance in the 80's, the organization provides resident shelter for homeless women with or without children, compassionate adult day services for a fragile population, and accredited child care in a creative and educational environment. Jeb S. asked:Attention anyone- I have friend that is down on his luck right now. He lost his living area over the weekend and slept on a bench out in the rain last night and is currently wandering Easton with nowhere to go get dry. He ate lunch at the homeless shelter but there are no beds available there. Is there anywhere else in the Easton area for someone to go? Churches? Another shelter anything but our in the rain.
