  When I lived in DC I saw [Dr. Matthew FitzGerald](https://therapygroupdc.com/matthew-fitzgerald-psyd-psychologist-therapist/). He is affiliated with the [Therapy Group of DC](https://therapygroupdc.com/) and sees patients in Dupont Circle. It's a bit of a trek from Hyattsville, but he was amazing and really helped me improve my quality of life. This practice was out-of-network for me but was nonetheless sooo worth it. Good luck! And don't be embarrassed.
