Set in a renovated Victorian home dating back to 1891 and full of charm, Hilltop Hostel is the place to experience all that Washington, DC has to offer. Our neighborhood is full of the diverse cultures the city is known for: From unique pubs to the library and Metro stops, everything you need is near. Let us point you to our favorite spots on a map, or rent a bike and explore without a specific destination. Chill in our backyard hammocks, or swap stories with new friends over drinks and a game of pool. We’re known for being a laid-back hostel where you can do your own thing, whether that’s socializing or relaxing after a long day. Choose a bunk in our dorm-style rooms, or set up your own tent and snooze under the stars in our private yard. We love sharing our corner of the world with fellow globetrotters.

rampion replied:Never stayed there, but the [Hilltop Hostel](http://www.hosteldc.com/) is in my neighborhood. Seems all right from the outside. Plus, it's like half a block from the metro.
