  Give me your dentist recommendations and/or horror stories Turned 30 this year and apparently the metal fillings my parents paid for in middle school are obsolete and need to be replaced. The problem is the dentist in Arlington who told me that miscalculated when he was working on the left side of my chompers and long story short I got my first root canal. It's a year later and I've been putting off getting the right side of my mouth done but I may be heading into troubled waters again because I think another one of my fillings on that side is compromised. I don't want to go back to the Arlington dentist because I'm trying to avoid another root canal. Give me your dentist recommendations for the best drillers and fillers, in order of preference located in Alexandria, Springfield, Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax etc. My recommendation: Dr. Anna Sidor in Annandale is a nice lady who gives great root canals, if you have to get one.

Otherwise Dr. Gruberg http://www.drgruberg.com/ also in fairfax - was my family dentist for years (and mine until he wasn't in-network in my insurance). Dr. Gruberg sent me a card when they found out my father passed away. Good people.
