For Dr. Nick Yiannios, dentistry is much more than a chosen profession. It is his passion, and he describes it as a “form of art and science.” Dr. Nick is internationally known for his prestigious work on creating customized beautiful and functional smiles. For more than 24 years, “Dr Nick” has been known as one of the premier experts in all areas of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.
“New technology, advanced techniques, and customer service are the foundation of our practice,” says Dr. Nick. We use digital radiography, lasers to detect cavities as well as to sculpt tissue, intraoral cameras to allow the patient to see what is going on in their mouth, microscopes and magnification, which helps the doctor perform restorations, dental implants, and veneer procedures in one visit. Time-saving techniques and innovations, including computer-aided design, allow Dr. Nick to create custom designed crowns and veneers in a single office visit. This technology eliminates the need for temporary restorations, as well as repeat visits, saving our patients time and money.
Dr. Nick has achieved Fellowship in the American Academy of CAD CAM Dentistry (AACCD), joining only 6 other professionals in the world who have earned this prestigious cosmetic designation, but to Dr. Nick cosmetic dentistry is easy. His drive is to change the way dentists measure dentistry by teaching them his advanced study in Neural Occlusion. Dr. Nick has discovered that many people’s oral ailments are caused by their bite alignment and jaw placement, a study he created called Neural Occlusion. His non-invasive treatments for these problems have an impressive success rate, and his findings have been published in scholarly articles and academic dental textbooks.
