About us
The Dental Health Practice has been part of the local community in West End, Southampton for nearly 35 years.
The Dental Health Practice was founded by Dr Peter Watt in August 1983. Today, Peter and the Practice are still going strong with the help of his colleagues:
Dr Ingrid Elliot (Associate Dentist) joined DHP 2014
Janet Heyworth (Hygienist) joined DHP in 1990
Corinne (Hygienist) joined DHP 2017
Paula Hemingway (Dental Nurse) joined DHP in 1988
Julie Sargant (Dental Nurse) joined DHP in 2003
Julie Ward (Dental Nurse) joined DHP 2006
Jane Waterhouse (Receptionist) joined DHP in 2006
Sue Denness (Practice Manager and Dental Nurse) joined DHP 2017.
We cater for all of your oral health needs such as, check-ups and fillings, and specialise in orthodontics, dental implants, sedation for nervous patients, and mercury amalgam removal.
We also offer cosmetic services such as, teeth whitening and facial aesthetics (Botox).
The DHP also offers hygiene treatments by Janet & Corinne to help keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy.
In early 2017, we welcomed Dr Nicholas Watt of NGW Chiropractic to the The Dental Health Practice. Nick offers a holistic approach to chiropractic treatment which compliments aspects of dental healthcare.
