About us
For one night of Mystery, you are the star of the show, a character in a hilarious criminal plot.
Of course our host will be with you the entire night to guide you through your crime caper. You'll be given clues, you can bribe the police for reports, and at the end of the evening we have prizes for those of you who manage to solve the Mystery!
We always supply costumes for our Murder Mysteries. This means that everybody can then choose their own hats, wigs, dresses, jackets, fake boobs, gangster jewellery on the day, at your venue, as part of the show. There is a lot of fun in playing dress up together, helping your friends and colleagues choose the right costume for their criminal characters.
This works well because then guests can just choose their characters on the night rather than you trying to match them up. Plus we facilitate it in such a way that it's random so your friends might be swapping gender or cultural roles. This makes the evening much funnier and also adds a strong element of team building as the guests get to see a side of one another not often present in their office environment.
All of our stories are South African, so that means that you have an adventure that is far more accessible to your guests. If you choose a classic mafia story instead of having a story set in Chicago in the 1920's you have a story set in Hillbrow in modern day South Africa or on the Cape Flats with 'Black-Eye Buthelezi' and 'Neels 9mm' plotting to smuggle drugs or hijack a cash-in-transit van. South Africans can laugh at the satire of their favourite gripes.
