About us

Somerset West Mom’s Heidi Stenslunde and Kim Scholtz have teamed up to form a community based Sports Charity called Kit4Kids. Heidi and Kim’s sons both play for the Somerset West Cricket Club and over time these Mom’s saw the desperate need for kit in the less advantaged communities close to them. One day on the cricket field while watching their boy’s practice they decided to do something about it and together they formed Kit4Kids. Kit4Kids collect and recycle all new and used sports equipment in the Helderberg & Stellenbosch region. They then distribute the kit to schools and children in less advantaged communities!
