  Any recommendations for 30th birthday restaurants in Staten Island or in NJ? Sisters birthday is coming up and looking for someplace different. My family isn't going to travel out to NYC and they hate the traffic to Brooklyn. So that leaves the home town of Staten Island or in NJ. Would like to avoid major chain restaurants but all reccomendations are welcomed.

  I’m guessing it dosen’t matter where on the island? Here’s some of my favorite non-chain places in no particular order. Bayou, Enoteca Maria, Brioso, Killmeyers, Mezcal, Patrizia’s, Bin 5, Korzo Klub, Marmar. Try looking up some of those.
