I'd love to find out about Jake, the unwalked senior. The links don't work, they're corrupted by endless ads. It's a little difficult from out of state.   Mountainmuttdogcoats Boulder Colorado, it took me about 5 minutes to finally get through to a human. They asked about his id number first (thanks, Jackie Richey for finding the link). Jake is currently under a 48 hour medical alert. I attempted to talk to the medical area of the shelter, but no one answered. I did find out that if you call the 1-888-452-7381 number and dial 144 as soon as the recording picks up, you'll be transferred directly to the shelter. The man I spoke with said the medical area is a bit busy right now, which is why no one answered. But, you could call back in 5-10 minutes and they might be available to answer questions about Jake and why he's under a medical alert.

  EMERGENCY *** URGENT *** We have a senior cocker spaniel at East Valley Shelter in LOS ANGELES who has a 501c3 Cocker Rescue in the mid-west needing him pulled in the NEXT 2 HOURS. He has transport waiting for him in Hollywood and he doesn't need a health cert. We will PAY SOMEONE TO GO ADOPT HIM from East Valley Shelter (or pull but that's harder to find) and drive him 15 minutes to his transport connection in HOLLYWOOD. Your gas, your expenses will all be reimbursed. This is URGENT and must be done now. Please help us save this 13 year old dog.
