  Friends in the Anniston, Jacksonville, Oxford, and Gadsden areas - I need suggestions on a doctor/practice in the area that is a good general/family practitioner (NOT a pediatrician - we are looking for Rence & myself). Just FYI - This practitioner cannot fall under the category of an urgent care practice. Thank you in advance!

  Beth Anne, I highly, highly recommend Dr. Saundra Dalton. She is a strong Christian, and has recently written a Christian book for women. She works for Anniston Medical Clinic. John and I love her a lot. She is so smart in her knowledge of medicine. She is an internist and has a wonderful nurse also, named Shawn. The phone number is 256-236-5631. Just ask to make an appointment and they will fix you up. Also, all the other employees there are so nice. I had a very bad experience with one of the doctors named above. He literally hollered at me on the phone and made me cry.
