Waitstaff/Event Staff Recommendations G'day r/Sydney.
I've got a wedding coming up in a but. We'll be supplying our own booze, & are arranging our own caterer, who usually does market stalls etc, & doesn't have any staff of his own.
We're looking to hire a few waitstaff to take out share platters from the catering area to the tables, bring bottles of wine/beer, etc.
Would prefer to go through a company rather than hiring randos from AirTasker or whatever, so there's at least one person that knows what they're doing/can direct traffic.
Has anyone here used any companies for this sort of thing that they'd recommend (or, alternatively, avoid)?

I've worked with a company called Earth Catering for many years. It's run by a brother and sister team and they are pretty dedicated and professional. Normally they provide food as well, but in your situation it sounds like besides just wait staff you may need crockery/glassware and overall management, which they could help with. http://www.earthcatering.com.au/about-us/ If you want proper professionals managing things though, don't expect bargain basement pricing. This is definitely an industry where you get what you pay for.
