  South Tampa mechanic? I have a couple things I need done on a 2004 Toyota Highlander, mainly an oil pan gasket leak, and also the chain which holds up my spare tire has rusted out. I'm looking for a good place to get the work done, planning on checking out a few for estimates since neither of these repairs are very urgent. South Tampa Auto and Tire appears to have great reviews but if anybody has names of other places I can look into I would appreciate it!

  I'm a fan of Bay Area Automotive on Fig St. http://www.bayareaautomotiveservices.com/ Nice folks, fast, helpful and honest. Needed new brake pads- guys at a large chain place insisted I need new brakes, calipers, and discs, that I was on the edge of catastrophic failure... Took my car to Bay Area Automotive an got fixed up without all the extra work/parts ChainGuy insisted I needed.
