About us

Our practice offers everything from routine cleanings, teeth whitening, and crowns and bridges to more complex procedures such as dental implants and treatment of gum disease. We utilize the highest quality materials and laboratories in order to provide exceptional dental care for our patients. Our goal is to make every appointment as comfortable and pain-free as possible, so that everyone in your family looks forward to going to the dentist. This sets the foundation for a lifetime of dental and oral health!

Veneers:
Whether your smile is affected by chips, cracks, gaps, or discoloration, veneers can dramatically improve its appearance. Veneers are thin, porcelain shells that are bonded to the front surface of your existing teeth. They are custom-created to your specific needs, to ensure they blend in seamlessly with your smile. Plus, they are extremely durable and resistant to staining, so with proper care, they will look beautiful for a long time to come.

Dental Bonding:
Dental bonding is a simple procedure that can make a significant difference in the aesthetic appearance of your smile. Bonding involves using a tooth-colored resin to fill in chips, cracks, or gaps, disguise areas of discoloration, or to lengthen or alter the shape of the teeth. This procedure is best for fixing small imperfections in the smile.

Dental Implants:
Missing a tooth not only affects the appearance of your smile, but it can also affect your dental health. Your other teeth may begin to shift, increasing your risk of decay and a misaligned bite. A gap in the smile can also leave you more susceptible to jaw bone damage and gum disease, and make it more difficult for you to chew or speak correctly. Dental implants offer a solution that prevents all of these consequences. A dental implant is a titanium post that is surgically inserted into the gums where the tooth used to be. The post will fuse to the jawbone over a period of a few months. Once this occurs, we restore the implant with an abutment... show more
and a crown. After the restoration, the dental implant will look like and function as a natural tooth! A patient must have sufficient jawbone in order to enjoy success with dental implants. Our doctors will work with you to determine if you are a candidate for this revolutionary tooth-replacement procedure.

Crowns & Bridges:
A crown is a “cap” that is placed over a tooth that is significantly broken or decayed, or has received a root canal. We utilize tooth-colored crowns that blend in naturally with the rest of your smile while improving the strength and appearance of the tooth. A bridge is a device that uses crowns to replace a missing tooth. Crowns are placed on the teeth on either side of the gap, and the crowns are connected to an abutment that is placed in the gap. Because the bridge is cemented to the teeth, it offers more stability and security than dentures but is a quicker and simpler procedure than placing a dental implant.

Gum Disease Treatment:
Gum disease occurs in several stages. Gingivitis consists of irritation of the gums. When left untreated, it can develop into periodontitis, a painful condition that can result in tooth loss. By performing routine cleanings, we can catch gum disease early on and perform treatment right away. The most common gum disease treatment is called scaling and root planing. This procedure involves deep cleaning beneath the gumline to remove bacteria. We then smooth out the tooth roots so the gums can properly and securely adhere to them, sealing out further bacteria and preventing the development of periodontitis.

Dentures & Partials:
If you are missing teeth, we can create custom dentures and partials that restore your confidence in your smile, improve your ability to chew and speak, and fit comfortably and securely in your mouth. Dentures are used to replace full rows of teeth, while partials are used when a patient is not missing all of their teeth.

White Composite Fillings:
After a cavity is removed, we will fill the tooth to restore its strength and protect it from further damage and decay. At our practice, we provide white composite fillings, which not only blend in seamlessly with the smile as compared to silver amalgam fillings, but they also help to better maintain the strength of the remaining tooth structure.

Dental Checkups & Cleanings:
Even if you are consistent with brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing daily, it is still important to schedule a professional cleaning at least twice a year to remove stubborn or hard-to-reach plaque and calculus. During a cleaning, we will examine your smile to check for evidence of developing decay, gum disease, and oral cancer. We also provide you with recommendations on how you can better take care of your smile at home so you can maintain its health.

Fluoride Treatment:
Fluoride is an element that is effective at strengthening the enamel, which makes your smile less susceptible to decay. We provide fluoride treatments for both children and adults to make sure you have the best possible protection against cavities.

Oral Cancer Screening:
Oral cancer is a very treatable cancer when caught early. We screen for oral cancer during your routine checkups and cleanings, to ensure that it is detected as soon as possible for the best chance of treatment success.

Digital X-Rays:
Sometimes, cavities and other dental issues can’t be detected through a visual exam. Digital x-rays are a diagnostic tool that allows us to catch any developing problems. Plus, digital x-ray expose patients to significantly less radiation when compared to traditional x-rays, and they produce images instantly.

Root Canal Treatment:
Our doctors perform root canals when infection has reached the nerve of the tooth, causing significant pain and discomfort. During a root canal, we remove the infected pulp and disinfect the inside of the tooth to eliminate remaining bacteria. Then, we use a crown to restore the tooth’s strength and appearance and protect it from further damage.

Extractions:
If you have a tooth that is decayed or broken to the point that it cannot be saved with a root canal, we will perform an extraction. Often, a tooth that needs to be extracted will be causing the patient significant pain that causes them to come in for an emergency visit. We do everything we can to help our patients feel comfortable and at ease during an extraction, and after the procedure, we will discuss your tooth-replacement options. show more
