Gumbo in Chicago? I've been craving gumbo like no other for months now. Everywhere I see it on the menu I order it, but it's just not doing it for me. I've honestly had better from Zatarain's out of a box. I had it tonight from a restaurant but it was too thin and the flavor lacked, which left me unsatisfied. Can anyone recommend somewhere to get authentic and GOOD gumbo in Chicago.. possibly the south side? I'm in the Hyde Park neighborhood near UofC. Or can anyone recommend a tested and reliable recipe? Thanks in advance. :)

If you are looking for any cajun or creole recipes, [this is the place to go](http://www.jfolse.com/newfindrecipe.htm). I've made a few and they have always come out fantastic. I've made [this one](http://www.jfolse.com/recipes/soups/chicken10.htm) with some of my homemade andouille and it was awesome.
