I don't think I'm a surgical candidate but someday I might need it. Mom and I have similar problems - we both got osteoarthritis at a young age (teens or earlier). Mine started in my early 20's. My mother was disabled at age 50. (I'm 38 years old now) I need someone who listens and might pay attention to the bigger picture (if there is one - i.e.: why mom and I both had arthritis at such a young age).
