  Can anyone recommend a therapist for depression and anxiety? For the sake of brevity and anonymity, I'll keep details to a minimum. I've been in a state of suicidal depression and crippling anxiety for the last year and half or so. I was baker\-acted recently, after my 2nd attempt and have attempted again since. Just haven't worked up the nerve to see it through. If I don't do something soon, I'm certain I'll be checking out. The doctors in the hospital I was held at were of no help. I saw a PCP after getting out and he was no help. A therapist seems like the next logical step, I suppose. Rather than pick one at random, I was hoping to maybe find someone in the area who's been through a similar situation and could recommend a therapist that might be able to save my life.   Kate Posey on Memorial at Lake Parker. 930 Alicia Rd 863 680 1950 I went to her for almost a year. Worked through some serious depression. First few sessions will be diagnostic then you'll get to the meat and potatoes. The hour always seemed to go too quick.
