  The A. asked:

  Community Member Justin Ward needs a thorough inspection of a new home: "I just bought a home (awaiting financing and inspection conditions to pass). It was built in 1995. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest/recommend a great home inspector to conduct an inspection. I would like to verify EVERYTHING is in top order and go over it with a fine-tooth comb (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fireplace, foundation, insulation, mold, eaves, roofing, etc), without spending a fortune. I'd also like a thermal image scan done of the property, to indicate any leaks or "hot spots". I have until the 15th of October to have this done. Preferably ASAP. Also, if I missed anything that you think I should be on the lookout for, please mention it. THANKS :) "

  I'm going to agree with above recs for EXECUTIVE HOME INSPECTIONS Extremely thorough! We used them last year when we were buying. Saved us from making a huge mistake on the first property we offered on & found fixable problems with the home we purchased, allowing us to negotiate repairs in.
