  Quiet 17 Dental Care Has anyone ever been to Quiet 17 Dental Care in NoMa? I'm looking for a new dentist. Been going to the same place for almost ten years, but it changed hands when the old dentist retried. I don't really like the new management - they try to push services I know I don't need and they convinced me to get a crown that has caused me nothing but trouble. Quiet 17 came up as a good option in my area, but open to other suggestions.

My hygienist is Danielle and my dentist is Dr. Jahangiri. They are extremely professional, have enough openings, were great at responding to my emergency calls / prescribing me medication, and are very understanding of my anxiety around seeing the dentist. I will go out of my way to see them as long as I'm in the DMV - I cannot praise them enough, seriously.

  I highly recommend Dr. Jahangiri (Dr. J) at [Advanced Cosmetic & General Dentistry of DC](https://www.dentistrydc.com/). Not Foggy Bottom proper, but 19 th & M Streets NW, so really close. Dr. J is fantastic and the staff (both front of house and hygienists) are very nice and super competent. I've had a number of root canals and crowns without any issue afterwards (aside from my own inability to floss well and often enough, anyway...)

  I see Dr. J at [Advanced Cosmetic & General Dentistry](http://www.dentistrydc.com/) on 19 th Street. She has done a lot of great crown work for me and the staff is fantastic (both the hygienist/assistant staff and front office). I don't have experience on gum contouring, but per the photos on the site, it looks like they do have laser gum sculpting.
