  A physiatrist May be the specialist you need - as they specialize in nerve , bone, muscle and spinal cord and they usually help direct a team of physiotherapists , occupational therapists and social workers to get patients better. Sunnybrook hospital has a special unit for this and their referral number is 416-480-6885
