  Does anyone in Lawrence know a competent critter remover? I hired a contractor to fix a leak in in my roof, and he found a hole that a raccoon has been using as a private entrance to my attic. We now have at least 3 baby raccoons. I don't know where momma is, but I'm sure she will be back. She and her family are not welcome. My contractor won't touch them.Suggestions?

  That photo of me is from the days when I was a volunteer at Operation Wildlife. It's a fantastic organization.

  I say let the mother raccoon raise her babies. They'll eventually leave. If you've already fixed the roof leak, you can rent a Have-A-Heart trap from Anderson Rentals. Again, Operation Wildlife can advise you on how to bait the trap and where to release the raccoons.
