Especially during the busy season, voicemails can cycle out & be deleted due to a full voicemail box, and texts and FB messages are not checked and kept up with every day. Years ago we picked one medium (email) to use and manage as a way to communicate and to avoid anyone falling through the cracks.
We get so busy and get so many requests for work that we can't remember every phone conversation we've had. We really need to have as much in writing as possible (and in one place) to be able to keep up with appointments, price quotes, and scheduling of appointmets and work-start dates.
If you never hear from us it is NOT because we don't want to work on your project. It is probably due to a voicemail we didn't catch before it deleted or a message left in a text or social media site that we don't check daily.
We WANT to work with you, and we are happy to speak with you on the phone. But most of the communications (especially the initial request) really needs to be through email so that no one fall through the cracks. And due to SO many endless telemarketing calls, we never answer the phone to numbers with an area code other than 501.
