I have a dark spot in my vision for years, and I want to get it looked at before considering lasik. Anybody have good reecomendation for a doctor focusing on eye health/isses and not just vision correction? (For clarification it is not a 'fuzzy' or a floater, its a dark spot that hasn't moved in my right eye's vision for a few years now)

  I started seeing Dr. Connie Dong because she was recommended by a friend. This woman is SO smart and sweet. She’s super thorough and spent time explaining things about my vision that other NYC eye docs didn’t explain to me, she didn’t charge me for a couple follow-up visits I needed, and her office is pretty efficient in getting you in and out.
