  Dog Needs Eye Removed Does anyone know of a vet that can remove my dogs eye? I don't have pet insurance and have been quoted 3-4 thousand by Ottawa Carleton which I cannot afford.   My 8 year old husky mix is sick. Was vomiting for a few weeks. Seen the vet twice. Changed food and giving antacid, antinausea and a pepto type med. He is now refusing to eat/will only take his treats. This is a dog who is insanely food driven. I called the DMV and scheduled an ultrasound for Monday morning for him. Any other suggestions and or wherw I can go to get the ultrasound sooner. I'm on a very tight budget. Solo parent with no child support. But I adore my dog and want to try and help him. Any suggestions are welcomed.
