We go to ash creek vet normally for checkups and what not, but I just know they are going to be a fortune. If anyone has had a good,reasonably priced experience elsewhere I'd be interested to know.   My daughter has used Banfield pet Hospital in Norwalk for her dog for at least five years. Banfield is a chain of vet hospitals and, if you look them up on the web, they have both good and bad press. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the Banfield in Norwalk. She pays a yearly fee of about $470 for their "active prevention" plan. This includes a yearly dental cleaning including a preanesthetic work up. It also includes two comprehensive physical exams, most vaccinations, various diagnostic tests, urine testing, twice yearly fecal exams and deworming, and unlimited free office visits. They currently have two female vets that I both like and respect. I brought the dog there the other day just to have them look at something I was concerned about and there was no charge for the visit. There are also discounts on most medications. Norwalk is a bit of a hike, but for us it has been worth it. You might want to check them out. The phone number is 203-866-2666.
