  My daughter goes for her annual check up towards the end of April. While there I’d like to get several referrals to see doctors that it’s been far too long since she’s been. She is on straight Medicaid and we live in Jensen Beach but willing to travel as long as it’s for superb doctors that you guys can vouch for. :-) We are looking for the following doctors: Dentist (possible sedation) & Orthopedist (mainly for curvature of spine and leg/arm braces). I’m sure there are some other docs we need but can’t think of right now. She’s 16. She hasn’t started menstruation yet but if you have suggestions for a gynecologist and/or options for when that time comes, that would be great. She has very low upper body control which causes a severe curvature of the spine. Her arms and legs are very stiff and neither go completely straight...at this point, probably due to shortened tendons and such...not sure what kind of doctor for that. Most likely a hip issue too. I hope this helps with getting suggestions and referrals from you guys. I feel so bad that she hasn’t been but it’s absolutely ridiculously hard to find to find Medicaid providers...when I do find one, they tell us there are not accepting new patients. I just want my baby girl to be taken care of. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

  I take my son to Dr. Wicina in Stuart. She is next to Martin memorial south on Salerno Road. She is wonderful...we're been going there for 12 yrs and prior to that my step daughters went to her. Her number is 772-223-5777. And since I work in a dentist office I would recommend Dr. Mark Mays for the children's dentist. There is a couple on Indiantown Road but Mark is awesome. He is in Palm Beach Gardens...561-622-9601. I take my son to Dr. Wilson in Stuart but Mark is closer to you and I think he's great. And for the ortho I would go to Dr. Bradford in PBGardens 561-694-3006 or Dr. Meier in Jupiter 561-799-4848. Hope this helps!!!! Let me know if you have any questions!
