My central unit wasn't cooling so I called Sam's and Sam Hilton came out and added freon. Within approx. 2 to 3 months the same thing happened again on a Friday and later into the summer when it was even hotter. Sam told me that my 20+ yr old Carrier unit was rusted out in places on the outside unit as well as in several places on the indoor part of the unit and would no longer hold freon. He talked me into a no name heat pump that he would order for me the following Monday. In the meantime he added more freon but within a few hours the unit stopped putting out cold air. I called a friend who recommended the A/C service that he used, Anderson Heat & Air in Gulfport. Mr Anderson came out on Saturday and found the freon valve wide open. I asked him if a valve could be opened slightly enough so that it would take 2 or 3 months for the freon to leak out & unfortunately his answer was yes. Mr Anderson added freon and fixed a control board issue and my A/C has been running perfectly for the 3 to 4 years since. When I called Sam Monday AM to tell him I wouldn't be needing the new unit he got angry with me and said that he'd already ordered it. I told him that I knew what he'd done to the valve and that it would be best for him to drop it there. He thought he saw someone he could con (single woman with older unit) and had it not been for Anderson Heat & Air, he'd have gotten away with it.

  228-467-0949 call and tell david what you want and ask him how much it will coast about. They should do it for a cheap price not a lot of work at all.. Let me know what he tell's ya girl
