Hey contractors & handymen -- Looking for some help for a client in need. My client, Debra, has a severely disabled son and she desperately needs someone to build a ramp. If there's anyone out there willing to help someone in need, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
"I have $1500. We desperately need a ramp and small deck built on the front of the house. Can it be done? Devin has medicaid and it will build it for him, however I refuse to let them. The very few allowed contractors will charge medicaid $7000 to build an ugly ramp from pine. I saw the bids. $600 for the pine and the remainder for building it.
Currently we are using aluminum ramps. They are very short, steep and dangerous. I can't use them by myself. Takes 2 people to get him up and down. The new ramp will need to be about 20 ft long to accommodate the the gradual grade up to the door with a deck for turning. I'm able to hammer and work too. My kids will help too. It's a big request for little cash. Please any ideas or feedback is greatly appreciated."
If you can help, please PM me and I can put you in touch with her.
Thank you!!!
Sally
