  Any recommendations for a roofer in the Charleston area? I have not had good luck with contractors over the years, including the guy who put the current (leaky off and on for years) roof on. I'm not sure if I'm going with regular roof or metal...depends on price. Then I'll need a good, honest contractor to re do my wall and ceiling in the living room. I HATE trying to find an honest contractor who will do the work when they say they will, for the price they say they will, who know what they're doing, and will finish in a reasonable amount of time.

  If you can go with the metal roof. Make sure you ask about gutter guards too. My sister had hers done, I think it was A-1 Roofing in Saint Albans. David Holstein is who she talked to about pricing etc. 304-727-5611
