  Recently moved to Knoxville. Looking for primary care physician that is taking on new patients. Just tested positive for weird tick-borne disease. Urgent care didn't feel comfortable with their ability to deal with my situation. Unfortunately, they only recommended an office with first available new patient appointment slot in December. It's been a tad Kafkaesque trying to get hooked into a primary care physician, so I figured maybe Reddit could help? Thanks. EDIT: Thanks a lot for all the insights! Given the overwhelming support for Summit Medical Group, I put a call into them and will hopefully hear back tomorrow. I had someone else recommend Dr. William B. Robinson, so, we'll see if that pans out. I hope this thread can help others with similar questions in the future.
