  this is exciting! I would HAVE to recommend Big Valley Midwives (http://www.bigvalleymidwives.com/). My friend Madeleine Shernock is training to be a midwife there and she is AMAZING and so knowledgeable and trustworthy and helpful. She also helps to run the nonprofit doula group Welcome Home Doula Services which is also has a ton of experience.
