  Jennifer E. wrote: I contacted George back in January and told him I'd like to get an estimate for some engineered flooring to be installed. It took about 2 months and 10 or 15 text messages to finally get him over to give us an estimate, he only came because he had another job in the South County so he was nearby. After George gave us the estimate it took us two weeks to find the material we wanted installed and then we told him we were ready for him. He kept me hanging for 3 months and never gave me a date to do the job. During the 3 months we had many many texts all indicating that he had ordered the material and was getting ready to give us an installation date. I finally asked him; are you going to do the job or not, you need to let us know. He said he was busy doing 2 other jobs and wouldn't be done for a couple weeks and if we wanted to get someone else go ahead. After wasting 5 months of our time he tells me this. I have to assume he never really ordered the material that he said he had ordered otherwise why wouldn't he have said he was ready to do the job when the material had come in. I don't know if he does good work or not and I never will know because I never want to have anything to do with someone that keeps me hanging for 5 months when we bent over backwards to accommodate him and his schedule. Do yourself a favor and hire someone that has the courtesy to keep their word and do the job in a timely manner.
