  If you have a car, drive 30-35 minutes south to visit the Ringling Museum. Drive 45 minutes north to visit the Salvador Dali Museum. Both are great. Last time I was in Bradenton I was going to eat at Yoder's Amish Restaurant and Village, but it was closed. It is about 20 minutes east of Anna Maria Island.
