  Dr Richard Shames is the alternative thyroid expert. He sees patients in Cotati twice a week and his main office is in Marin with Dr Elson Haas. You can google him or pick up his book on Amazon Fat, Fuzzy and Frazzled, or something like that. Appt's (415)472-2343. I've struggled with a very atypical hypothyroidism that took 16 months just to where I could get back to exercising normally again. Dr Shames really helped. My endocrinologist at Kaiser didn't. And I know quite a bit about thyroid support myself, being a bit of a biochemistry expert. But my doctor at Kaiser treats me like I'm a idiot. Oh well. Cheers,
