  Margaret, the same thing happened to us. Our insurance covered all but our deductible ($500), but the process took one day short of 3 weeks. Our plumber was awesome, but they are slammed right now (as are the insurance companies). The fix was almost $3000 for ours, but like I said, our insurance covered all but $500. The plumber we used was Frost & Kretsch from Warren. Their phone number is 586-774-1252. I suggest you call your insurance company first, or if you rent, call the landlord and their insurance should cover it. Best to you! Feel free to inbox me with any questions.

  Reader Question: Could you help me find a reputable plumber and/or drain cleaner in the Eastpointe/Roseville/Warren area? Our basement drain is backing up off and on. I am thinking it may be tree roots as we have a few large maples in or front yard. I would love to find a trustworthy and honest person/company that has a camera to see what's going on in the pipes that won't charge out the nose.
