  I understand. If they weren't my friends, I wouldn't let them in my house either? Scary to have strangers in your home. Good luck. I used Animal Barn years ago, but my Yorkie came home hoarse from barking the whole time. That's the only problem though, not really a big one. I have boarded my cats at the vet I mentioned above, but not my current dog. I know they really love the animals there and there is a yard out back they can play in.

  If you use Animal Barn, tell them you want two of the indoor suites. The ones by the front desk. Two dogs in each.

  I don't know how sensitive your dogs are, but Animal Barn stays very, very loud. My dogs can't stay there simply because it causes them too much anxieties. I guess some dogs aren't bothered by lots of noise but my guys can't handle the energy of that place.

  I hate to hear that Jessica, I have always used Animal Barn and have never had any trouble at all..I had a pom who done what you said your pets done, but I think he was just mad because I left him..They have always been very good with all my pets..They should have washed the blankets..

  I don't advise taking your dogs blankets or beds with you to animal barn if you board there. My dogs who NEVER have accident must have been left ungodly hours without bathroom breaks because my blankets I sent were returned with crap ALL OVER THEM! I will never use them again!

  Animal Barn is. They are open for a few hours in am and a few hours (4-6 pm I think) in the late afternoon

  Yes the Animal barn is open from 7:30-9 am and 4-6 pm on Sundays!

  Local Dog Trainer Recommendations? I'm trying to find a good dog trainer in the area. I have an 8 week old puppy that I want to get started on training, but I'm unsure of who to take him to. I've heard recommendations for a trainer out at south Alabama, but I can't find any information about them. I've been told petsmart has a good program, and I've also talked to someone locally named Luna. So does anyone have any good recommendations?
