  Cheap places to stay? First timer... Thinking about visiting the area this summer. However, I'm not sure where to even begin looking for a cabin rental. It's even harder now that most of the cabins were lost in the fire. Also, some of the websites I've found through google seem waaayyy over priced. Then, I found this website, American Patriot Giveaways. They have cabins for 50% off at the moment. One was regular $950 for five nights, but with the promo code it's about $400 with taxes. What?! Has anyone ever heard of this place? It seems too good to be true... Can anyone recommend any websites to check out for cabins? It'd be a huge help! Thanks in advance.

  The patriot getaways looks like a great deal. I've never heard of them so I would definitely pay by credit card and get everything in writing so I could dispute any illegitimate charges. We used [Alpine Chalet Rentals](https://www.alpinechaletrentals.com/) to rent our lodge before the fire and would recommend them. I think the other fellow is right about VRBO that's probly the best place to go if you need to keep costs down.
