  Any reccs on a reliable, affordable HVAC specialist? I had someone a few years ago do some good work but I heard he was bought out by a bigger company. Can't honestly remember who it was. I had someone else do a full cleaning of my furnace but he charged an arm and a leg, even to come back for a less than half hour fix of something he didn't take care of the first time around. I'm not cheap. I understand the value of a good service, but I'm also not exactly dripping with money. I just need someone to look at my system and tune it up, with the possibility of doing a full cleaning / revamp if it is needed.

  Salyers Mechanical. Run by Ricky Salyers, a great guy. (859)358-8701. Don't know about his prices as my old landlord was responsible for that. What so impressed me w Ricky is how he would follow up by calling me to see how my system was doing, if it was saving me on utility bill, etc. Great guy.
