So their portrait canvas is good for landscapes or something with texture not portraits. Can anyone recommend a comparable linen. I have been told Raphael is good but it is a bit too expensive.

  I use the Raphael linen/boards and I buy them from aswexpress.com only when they have a good discounted sale. That makes it a little easier because they are pricey.

As many of you are familiar with, prices of oil paints add up really fast. What stores or websites do you frequent to buy your paints and painting supplies?
