  What kind of a doctor do I go to for a muscle in my shoulder? I've been having major pain in my right shoulder and have been going to a chiropractor for 3 weeks and it doesn't seem to be helping. Today I'm in so much pain I left work. I can't turn my head to the right or put my head down. I have shooting pains in my neck and down my arm today, which I usually don't have. I really need to get this taken care of! I've been to a massage therapist in the past and that didn't get rid of the knot. Any suggestions??
